3pp® Side Step™ Finger Splint

This easy-to-wear splint is designed with soft, non-slip straps and pads to provide maximum comfort. It comes in three sizes to accommodate a range of finger sizes and can be worn on any of the four fingers (please note that it is not recommended for the thumb).

This splint is not recommended if you have reduced circulation, a condition such as Raynaud’s syndrome or loss of feeling in your fingers.
Wear: Suggested wearing time is 5 to 10 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. The Side Step Splint works best when deviation first appears and will not be effective on fingers that are fixed in place. It is recommended that you don't wear your splint for more than the suggested 10 minute periods.
Please monitor your finger color and temperature and loosen or remove your splint if your finger discolors or becomes cold to the touch.

My finger has been stuck in a crooked position for many years. Will this straighten it out?
If your finger is really stuck and does not move or straighten when you push on it, this splint will not be effective. If your knuckle moves or straightens with pressure, the Side Step Splint may help or at least help limit the progression.

How long should I wear the Side Step splint each day?
It is recommended that you don't wear your splint for more than the suggested 10 minute periods.
You should monitor your finger color and temperature and loosen or remove your splint if your finger discolors or becomes cold to the touch.
Can I wear this at night when I sleep?
The suggested wearing time is 3 to 4 times a day for 5 to 10 minutes. If you decide to wear it at night, apply only a light corrective pressure that will be tolerable for several hours of wear.
